Zone sold to US technology consultancy for estimated £50-£55m

The US publicly listed digital technology consultancy Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation has agreed to acquire the London based full-service digital agency Zone in a deal that appears to reflect a growing appetite among consultancies to pay substantial sums to acquire additional skills so as to broaden their client offering.

Business Growth Fund (BGF) invested £6 million in Zone in 2014 for a 22% equity stake, valuing the entire company at £27 million on the assumption that the share price would not have been discounted materially to reflect the lack of control (see Zone gets a Head).  So what is Zone likely to have been worth today?
