Zone gets a Head

Zone, the expansionist digital agency lead by executive chairman James Freedman and backed by the Business Growth Fund, has added Head London to its clutch of acquisitions.

No financial details of the deal have been disclosed.  However, based on the number of Head’s fee-earning staff and an extrapolation of debtors at 31 December 2015, the company is likely to have commanded an initial valuation of between £5 million and £6 million – provided it has continued to trade profitably in 2016. Further deferred payments may have been included in the deal.
