WPP’s revenue growth beats Omnicom: sluggish fourth quarter expected

WPP announced revenue growth of 1.6% in the third quarter of 2012, dragging down the cumulative growth for the nine months to 4.2%.  And although the growth for the nine months outperformed that of Omnicom Group (see Omnicom at a standstill), WPP warned of “some reduction” from the previous forecast revenue growth for the year as a whole to between 2.5% and 3%.
