WPP has increased its shareholding in Chime Communications to a little over 19.1%, the highest percentage it has held in the last three years. WPP had a 19.3% stake on 10 March 2009, but its holding has been diluted progressively since then as new shares have been issued in partial payment for company acquisitions.
