Publicis Groupe has agreed to make an offer to acquire the Netherlands based digital marketing and technology group LBi International for a generous €416 million (£333 million) in cash, yielding a big gain to management shareholders and to private equity backers Janivo Holding, The Carlyle Group and Cyrte Investments.
The deal, if consummated, will add further digital market strength to Publicis which already owns Digitas, Razorfish and Rosetta.
