Mystery surrounds £36m payments to Nix UK company from Cambridge Analytica

Mystery continues to surround payments of £12.5 million and £24.2 million made by the US data analysis and consulting firm Cambridge Analytica to a related UK company controlled by Alexander Nix, despite enquiries directed to the UK company’s joint administrators.

Cambridge Analytica is the consulting firm hired by President Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign that has been linked to a Facebook data-harvesting scandal and has recently filed for bankruptcy (see Cambridge Analytica files formal petition for bankruptcy in US).
