Media buying agency The Media Shop has gone into administration although its parent company Starprobe has so far avoided a similar fate.
The seeds of the financial crisis appear to have been sown when The Media Shop’s own funds were used to facilitate a management buyout of the business seven years ago, leaving the group’s capital base more vulnerable than otherwise would have been the case.
