The High Court has struck out nearly half of the amount being claimed from Porta Communications and its chief executive David Wright by Media Square, now in administration.
The largest claim for loss, valued at £263,933, was struck out because it had “no real prospect of success and therefore did not even justify a trial” (see Media Square sues Porta and Wright for conspiracy).
