Domestic revenues earned by The Interpublic Group of Companies fell by 5.5% in the third quarter of 2012 and global revenues fell by 3.2%. According to Interpublic’s chairman and chief executive Michael Roth, this was due to “incremental client caution” and the impact of earlier client losses.
The results were the worst to be announced by the major global groups so far.
