Huntsworth, the publicly listed international public relations group, has added its voice to the chorus of gloomy revenue predictions currently emanating from the marketing sector, saying like-for-like revenue declined by 3.6% in the third quarter and year-end profits are expected to be at “the lower end of expectations”.
Last year Huntsworth’s post-tax profit was almost halved, falling to £9.7 million from £17.5 million in 2010 (see Huntsworth profit almost halved). However, Huntsworth still expects the current year’s profit to be “significantly ahead” of the £9.7 million achieved last year
