Ebiquity’s deal with Nielsen sent for in depth competition investigation

Ebiquity’s proposed sale of its advertising intelligence division to Nielsen Market Research is being referred to the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) for in-depth investigation.

Ebiquity is an AIM listed marketing performance monitoring specialist.  It first announced its plan to sell its advertising intelligence unit to Nielsen Market Research in February (see Ebiquity to incur loss on selling profitable unit for £26m
