dotDigital Group, the AIM listed provider of software products and services to digital marketing professionals, increased its revenue and operating profit by over 30% in the year to 30 June 2012.
Unfortunately the published figures paint a different picture due to distortions imposed on the company by the accounting rule-makers to reflect the 2011 renegotiation of the deal terms for acquiring Netcallidus (see Dotty accounting fails to cloud dotDigital’s progress). Those published figures suggest that the post-tax profit has dropped from £3 million in the previous year to £2.5 million in the latest period.
