Dentsu’s CFO stepping down as an executive officer

Shoichi Nakamoto, a Dentsu vice president and its chief financial officer, will cease to be an executive officer of the company at the end of this month when the company implements its annual process of electing its senior management.

Shoichi Nakamoto was recently censured for his part in the violation of Japanese employment laws and it is not yet clear whether he will also be relinquishing his role of CFO. Dentsu told Marketing Services Financial Intelligence that it was unable to comment further on specific roles and titles at this stage.

Dentsu Aegis Network’s chief financial officer Nick Priday will be elected an executive officer of the group with effect from 1 January 2018 while continuing in his current role.
