Dentsu buys Scottish design consultancy for estimated £2-£3 million

Dentsu Aegis Network has acquired the Edinburgh based design and digital marketing agency Whitespace (Scotland) with 70 staff and annual revenue of £3.8 million.  Terms of the deal have not been disclosed, but the acquisition price is estimated to have been between £2 million and £3 million.

Founded in 1997, until recently the agency was owned primarily by Phillip Lockwood-Holmes, Iain Valentine and Emma Jardine in equal proportions.
