Transparency report may put pressure on agency margins

Agency profitability may come under pressure if clients take a more aggressive attitude towards relationships with in-house production units and third party suppliers following a new report on financial transparency published by the US Association of National Advertisers (ANA).

The report details a range of circumstances in which clients may not always have been aware of the financial implications of services provided.  It provides a comprehensive 10 point guide to advertisers on how they should conduct their agency relationships.
