Ambitions and revenues grow at Inside Ideas Group, but at a cost

Digital marketing agency Inside Ideas Group’s expansive international ambitions have been funded to a sizeable extend by client prepayments, its latest accounts show.  Client prepayments and other creditors together grew from £5.7 million at 30 June 2016 to over £15 million by the end of the 18 month period to 31 December 2017.

The group incurred a loss of £1.7 million on much increased turnover of £155 million in the latest period, bringing its cumulative losses to £2 million.

Inside Ideas’ principal shareholder and chief executive Simon Martin told Marketing Services Financial Intelligence that the company’s funding model had enabled it to accelerate the application of its unique business proposition on an international scale and gain market prominence ahead of the competition.  That business proposition involves the embedding of its digital marketing teams within clients that include a number of international blue chip brands.
