Acquisitions help lift Dentsu’s revenue by 15.2%

Dentsu achieved revenue growth of 15.2% in the first quarter of 2017, outperforming all the other major global groups except WPP.  The performance would have been even better if revenue had not been eroded by the weakening of the dollar against the yen.

Much of the quarter’s growth was fuelled by acquisitions. Nowhere was that illustrated better than in the Americas where gross income grew by 63.4% on a constant currency basis, but where only 0.7% of the growth was organic.
